Hej alla,

Har endast bott i Chiang Mai / Thailand i 7 mån, men det sociala fungerar inte alls för mig och jag personligen vill bara ha ett avslut på detta och flytta hem till Sverige igen. Därav så säljer jag av mina verksamheter (3 fastfood restauranger) med omedelbar verkan och hoppas finna här på forumet någon driven entreprenör.

Chiang Mai fast food franchise

This popular fast food chain in Chiang Mai has been in business for over 30 years and is popular with tourists, expat residents and Thais. There are a total of 5 branches currently open but the owner wishes to sell three of them to a driven entrepreneur. One of the restaurants has been only been open for a few months so all figures are for only 2 of the restaurants.

The franchisor will offer full support and training for the takeover. Included in the price is also two existing protected areas with the potential to open up at least four more restaurants. All of the restaurants are in prime locations around the city. One location as four large bedrooms with a bathroom above the restaurant that could possibly be accommodation for the owner, although they need some renovation.

A new POS system is in the pipeline and is included in the price. Customer loyalty cards will be rolling out soon.

All three leases are on the 3 year + 3 option. Rent per location is 35,000 Baht, 21,000 Baht and 15,500 Baht per month. The three restaurants have 15 full time employees although in high season it’s up to 17-18.

The business grew 5.4% in 2011 from the previous year and with the right marketing huge growth potential. Sales for the two restaurants totaled 5.68 million Baht in 2011 with a net income of around 600,000 Baht. Payroll for 10 full time employees was 65,000 Baht a month. Assets of all three restaurants included in the sale total around 1.4 million Baht. Security deposit and inventory are not included in the sale price. A Limited Thai company and enough registered capital to obtain one work permit are included in the selling price.

This well known Fastfood Franchise since 1979 in Chiang Mai have today totally five branches.
Now, three of them is available for sale to a new hungry driven entrepreneur. All figures is for two of the Restaurants 2011, since the latest Restaurant (No 3) only had been up and running since 1 Feb 2012.
A good support & training program and takeover will be given by the franchisee and franchisor.

Som tidigare franchisetagare och erfarenhet av BURGER KING under ett antal år ser lönsamhetsbilden inte speciellt lockande ut…men finns säkert någon som vill betala för att arbeta ihjäl sig!!

Och som tidigare franchisetagare & Development agent för världens största fast food kedja i 10 år, så är väl det så att franchise i allmänhet växer & växer och är en naturlig framgång.
Så, länge avtalen är ok och inte som 7 elevens te.x.

Min situation är dock enbart baserat på det sociala planet.
Då, det inte fungerar alls för mig här.
Rätt man på fel plats!

Att vara ytterst ansvarig för 2 företag med dessa dåliga lönsamhetsvillkor lockar nog inte så många spekulanter med tidigare erfarenhet av verksamheter.Att dessutom driva det i Thailand med alla oväntade problem som dyker upp plötsligt utan förvarning kräver en orutinerad eller okunnig entreprenör(angående Thailand).
Att Burger King gav så dåligt resultat förvånade mig mycket.
Att driva ett enkelt gatukök i Sverige genererar minst samma vinst och betydligt mindre ansvar.
Detta är ett dåligt erkännande för kedjan Burger King som utnyttjar människor med framtidsdrömmar.
Detta är ingen personlig kritik mot dig som försöker sälja verksamheten.

Undrar om priset. Är det 3 restauranger a 2,4 milj styck?

Nej, ingen skugga över BK. Jag drev restaurangen under lång tid som franchiesetagare med god vinst…dock vad jag ser av,till salu, dessa företag med låg omsättning och hög kostnadsandel ter det sig för mig svårt att få vinst som är skälig i förhållande till arbetsinsatsen…och då speciellt i Thailand! Övertyga mej gärna om motsatsen.

Hej,

Har haft några intressenter dock ej ifrån Sverige och jag försöker än en gång att få till ett avslut på min försäljning via olika kanaler.

Har satt ner mitt försäljningspris rejält och vill bara komma härifrån och åka hem till min fru som vart tvungen att åka tillbaka till Sverige.
